Impact Drills

Impact Drills (Total: 0)

Impact drivers are lightweight but score higher on torque. Cordless impact drivers have multiple voltage ratings such as 12 Volts, 18Volts, and 20 Volts. Higher the voltage, the higher the power. The key components of a standard drill-driver include a head with chuck, either keyed or keyless, and a clutch to adjust torque levels. Impact drivers do not have a chuck in their drill design. They use a hex collet instead. Impact drivers are used mainly for driving large fasteners. It is, however, not preferred for precision drilling jobs. It is useful for tasks where a large force is required.
